Ten Audiobooks You Should Listen To

I used to never listen to audiobooks. I thought they were so boring and I would much rather listen to music if I'm in the car. I'm the type of person that drives quickly. listens to fast music, and sings aloud at full volume. It also helps that I love driving.

Last year though I started commuting. My 40 mile drive became 2 hours in traffic and I couldn't listen to music that long. I actually ran out of songs and ended up hating all my playlists. So I got in to audiobooks. These are the top 10 audiobooks I listened to on my dreadful commute which I (thankfully) no longer have to do anymore!

1 The Accident Season by Moira-Fowley Doyle (Colby Minifie)
Irish Narrator, yes please!

2 Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (Jay Snyder, Brandon Rubin, Fred Berman, Lauren Fortgang, Roger Clark, Elizabeth Evans, Tristan Morris)
SEVEN NARRATORS! Yeah. It's sort of confusing in the beginning but it gets good. And now I know how I've been mispronouncing words in my head throughout all of Leigh's Grisha series.

3 Outpost by Ann Aguire (Emily Bauer)
I didn't like the first book in the series too much but I LOVED this audiobook it was suspenseful and terrifying

4 Confessions of a Murder Suspect by Jame Patterson (Emma Galvin)
They switched narrators for the third book and I was really bummed I loved Emma as a narrator her voices are spot on.)

5 The Fault in Our Stars by John Green (Kate Rudd)
Pretty sure this audiobook won some awards. Pretty sure it was deserved.

6 Tempest by Julie Cross (Matthew Brown)
My cat loved this audiobook. I was moving cross country and he wouldn't stop meowing, the instant I turned this audiobook he stopped. And when I turned if off he would cry again. So we listened to this non-stop.

7 Burn for Burn by Jenny Han & Siobhan Vivian ( Joy Osmanski, Madeleine Maby & Rebekkah Ross)
This isn't my usual type of book but I loved the three different narrators it made the voices sound distinct.

8 This Dark Endeavor by Kenneth Opel (Luke Daniels)
The book was pretty decent. I don't know if I'll continue the series but I did really enjoy Luke Daniels narration!

9 Chime by Franny Billingsley (Susan Duerden)
Do you like Lainie Taylor and April Genevieve-Tucholke? You'll probably like this!

10 The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater (Steve West, Fiona Hardingham)
So...this is like one of my favorite books of all time. The audiobook was just as good!

  3. I love when audiobooks have multiple narrators! I don't want to read Six of Crows though until I read Bardugo's Grosga trilogy. I might just have to pick up the audiobook for The Accident Season! It's been on my TBR for a while but I haven't picked it up yet. Great list! :) Thanks for all the awesome recommendations!
