10 Characters I'd Like to Check in With

Fair warning: Spoilers ahead!

1 Joseph "Motherfucking" Kavinsky - The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater

I know he died at the end of The Dream Thieves much to utter, devastating, dismay but I would love to check in with Kavinsky before he got so involved with Ronan or maybe we can visit him in the afterlife?

2 Jessamin & Finn - Illusions of Fate by Kiersten White
I adored the world that White created in Illusions of Fate I would love for there to be a sequel so we can check in with Jessamin, Finn, and just learn more about everything.

3 June & Day - Legend by Marie Lu
At the end of Champion we saw June and Day meeting for the 'first' time after being apart. I'd love to see if they stayed together, if they have a dog, what is happening with them!

4 Jackal - The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa
This guy was by far my favorite character in this series! In truth he just needs his own book.

5 Rhine - Wither by Lauren DeStefano
At the end of the series Rhine finds a cure for the disease that was going to kill her before she turned 18. Now that she has the cure I'd like to check in and see what she is doing with those extra years.

6 Jem - Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
Jem went through so much pain and heartache, I just want to see his happy ending with Tessa!

7 Morpheus - Splintered by AG Howard
Morpheus had all of Alyssa's mortal life to spend in Wonderland. It'd be cool to see how he spent his time and what his nights with Alyssa were like. I think we are going to be getting some of this information in Untamed though!

8 Nick - The Demon's Lexicon by Sarah Rees Brennan
Nick is funny, witty, and all around awesome even though he isn't trying to be! I'd love to see what him and Mae are up to and if he's starting to be more human...this time not just for Alan.

9 Sean Kendrick - The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
I really want to return to the island and see what has become of Sean. Does he still compete in races? Did he and Corr start their own farm/water horse thing? Is he still with Puck? This is another world I'd just love to curl up in and stay a while. Also...good job Maggie you're the only author to make it on this list twice!

10 Logan - Veronica Mars by Rob Thomas
Yeah...whatever...so this is kind of cheating but technically Logan is in the Veronica Mars books. Not nearly enough though! I need to know what's going to happen to Logan & Veronica. I want them to get a blissful happily ever.
