Review:
Dyna is an adrenaline junkie, whether it is biking on a remote trail, rock climbing, or jumping in to quarries Dyna is down for it. That is until she shatters her ankle and has to decide if her daredevil lifestyle is really for her or if she needs to start playing it safe.

I love reading books where the main character is totally different than me but I can still relate to their story. Dyna was one of those characters. She is an adrenaline junkie who loves doing stuff outdoors. I like to read books and avoid outside if at all possible. It was fun and interesting to read about how much she missed climbing rocks, it actually made me want to get out and climb some boulders (until I realized it’s hot outside and I’m not a big fan of heights =P)!

The romance in Adrenaline Crush was a focal point of the story and it was a triangle. This triangle didn’t bother me though because you knew who Dyna was going to pick the entire time. Each boy represented a choice. Jay was everything that is safe and protective. He was there for Dyna’s accident and he wanted her to heal and stay safe. Then there was Pierce an Afghanistan War veteran who wanted Dyna to go back to her old life and be true to herself. I’ll give you one guess on who Dyna ends up choosing.

Overall, Adrenaline Crush was a quick and heartwarming story about doing what you love, being true to yourself, and pushing through tough stuff.
