Falling For YA: Happy Birthday Emily: Fun Facts

Today is officially my birthday! I know we started celebrating March 1st but today is the REAL day. I am so excited to be celebrating with my bestie Julie in Denver! I thought long and hard about how to celebrate my birthday with all of you. I was like well...I'm already doing a giveaway, what more is there to do? And then it hit me! People like celebrating birthday's, but only if they know the birthday girl, and although many of you follow my blog, and check out my Twitter page I'm not sure you really know me. So I'm going to let you in on 10 random Emily facts!

1 I adore spicy food
My motto "If it doesn't hurt it's not worth eating". The hotter the better. I also add hot sauce to pretty much everything I eat.

2 I have a, not so secret, love affair with cars
Is it fast? Does it drive sideways? Is it expensive? Shiny? Oh yes! I have adored cars since I was 14 and went through a boy racer phase. Only, it wasn't a phase...I'm still a boy racer at heart.

3 I will graduate from Law School in May!
My mom enrolled me in Pre-School at the ripe 'ole age of 2. I have officially been in school for 23 years...I'm really REALLY ready to graduate!

4 I really like rap and hip-hop music.
Old school, new, obscure, whatever. I listen to a lot of it! That isn't to say I don't listen to other stuff, I do. But when I'm driving, give me a dope bass line, and a sick flow and I'm in love. I also constantly joke about starting a rap career. My rap name: 2 Catz!

6 My parents used to own a restaurant called Pizza Time.

When it's time for Pizza, it's Pizza Time! I worked there all through High School. Also, I love pizza.

7 Growing up Peter Pan was my imaginary friend.
I credit Peter Pan with giving me my sister Bethany. After he showed up parents thought I needed a sibling lol.

8 I majored in Criminology
And I loved every second! But...I decided to go to law school because it was hard to find a job after majoring in crime.

9 I speak Japanese
I started studying in High School and studied abroad in Kitakyushu.

10 I watch entirely too much Netflix
And I'm not embarrassed by it! I haven't had cable in years so I watch copious amounts of Netflix on my roku. I also rarely read or watch the news. I get most of my news from twitter
