Waiting On Wednesday

The Truth About You And Me
Author: Amanda Grace
Publisher: Flux
Expected Publication: Sept, 8, 2013
GoodreadsAmazon
Synopsis:
Smart girls aren't supposed to do stupid things.
Madelyn Hawkins is super smart. At sixteen, she's so gifted that she can attend college through a special program at her high school. On her first day, she meets Bennet. He's cute, funny, and kind. He understands Madelyn and what she's endured—and missed out on—in order to excel academically and please her parents. Now, for the first time in her life, she's falling in love.
There's only one problem. Bennet is Madelyn's college professor, and he thinks she's eighteen—because she hasn't told him the truth.
The story of their forbidden romance is told in letters that Madelyn writes to Bennet—both a heart-searing ode to their ill-fated love and an apology.

My Thoughts:
Not to sound weird but I really like teacher/student romances and this one seems like it is going to be something special and different. I like the thought of it being told in letters and can't wait to see how the story progresses through their relationship.

  1. LOL I'm fascinated by the relationships too. Although in the cases where they are really close in age only! I've read quite a few and will definitely check out this one as well.

  2. Such a gorgeous cover, definitely makes me want to read this one! I have to agree with Jennifer, I only like teacher/student relationships when they are pretty close in age. Not sure about this one, but it definitely looks interesting!

I kind of like the teacher-student relationships as well .-. (as long as they don't get too weird or creepy)

  6. I love when a story is told through letters, or when letters are at least incorporated somehow. This sounds really interesting.

  14. Oh why did he have to be her teacher. I really don't like reading about relationships like that. Love is love and you don't get to choose who you fall for but that's just wrong. Well that's my opinion. If it wasn't for the last sentence of the summay I would have added the book on my to-read list but now I just can't. I hope you enjoy reading it...
