This is my very first Top 10 Tuesday but because it was such a fun topic that I thought I would give this meme a try! If case you've forgotten here are My Top 10 book boyfriends of 2012 and without further ado here are my:
Top Ten Characters I Would Crush On If I Were Also A Fictional Character (aka Book Boyfriends!)
1 Adrian Ivashkov (The Indigo Spell by Richelle Mead)
Is anyone even surprised that this boy is at the top of my list? I make it no secret that I love Adrian! In fact after reading The Indigo Spell Adrian had me totally craving Fondue so I actually went out of my way to make some.
2 Jem Carstairs (Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare)
I find Asian Guys ridiculous hot-always have, always will. I want to one day have cute little half-asian (hasian?) babies. So Jem has been my favorite favorite favorite since Clockwork Angel and I loved that despite him being sick and dependent on yin fen he never let that get the best of him. I also loved his never ending devotion to Tessa. He is just perfect, that is all I have to say.
3 Mr. Darcy (Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen)
Placing Mr. Darcy on the list was hard because when I think of him he's number 1 in my heart but every single time I re-read the book or watch the movie he makes me so mad right up until the end! That's why Mr. Darcy you're not #1 you get to be #3.
4 Nick (The Demons Lexicon series by Sarah Rees Brennan)
Yeah I put Nick on this list and I have a feeling he would feel utterly indifferent about being on he list. It comes out in Book 2 that he is a Demon. And because it was Sarah Rees Brennan writing the story this little fact made me love him more. I'm totally bummed the series is over because I could really use some more Nick in my life.
5 Four/Tobias (Insurgent by Veronica Roth)
The actor selected to play Four may have actually made the character hotter in my mind. In the books I mean he's awesome and I totally swooned for him but I always imagine him scrawny and older now I get to think of him as this guy. Yeah...definitely hotter!
6 Jay Gatsby (The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald)
The Great Gatsby is one of my faovrites books, potentially my favorite book of all time. No one throws a party like a Gatsby party! And after all he went through to be with Daisy even though that lady is straight up crazy and doesn't know whats good for her. And then to top it all off he ends up dead because of a case of misidentification *sigh* I love Jay Gatsby and I don't care who knows!
7 Morpheus (Splintered by AG Howard)
I read this book back in December and since then I have not been able to get Morpheus out of my head! He was brooding, had all kinds of ulterior motives and when I imagine him I always imagine him with crazy eyes, and guys with crazy eyes are my kryptonite!
8 Strumhound/The Darkling (Siege & Storm by Leigh Bardugo)
Because Siege & Storm isn't out for another couple months I can't say too much about Strumhound without giving the entire story away so you will just have to take my word on it that this man is swoon-worthy and I can't wait to see more of him! Also The Darkling gets an honorary place with Strumhound because he still holds a strange place in my heart reserved for sexy villains!
9 Day (Prodigy by Marie Lu)
So I liked Day in Legend but in Prodigy I really started to swoon over him! Especially with that killer ending I can not even stand the wait for the next novel. I need to know whats going to happen to him. Also as a side note I think Alexander Ludwig would make a great Day, all he'd have to do is grow his hair out a bit.
10 Sean Kendrick (The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater)
I loved this book and half the reason I loved this book was Sean. His love for his capall uisc and for Puck Connelly was just too perfect! I couldn't get enough of this book and really hope the movie ends up actually being made.
