Synopsis:
In The Indigo Spell, Sydney was torn between the Alchemist way of life and what her heart and gut were telling her to do. And in one breathtaking moment that Richelle Mead fans will never forget, she made a decision that shocked even her. . . .
But the struggle isn't over for Sydney. As she navigates the aftermath of her life-changing decision, she still finds herself pulled in too many directions at once. Her sister Zoe has arrived, and while Sydney longs to grow closer to her, there's still so much she must keep secret. Working with Marcus has changed the way she views the Alchemists, and Sydney must tread a careful path as she harnesses her profound magical ability to undermine the way of life she was raised to defend. Consumed by passion and vengeance, Sydney struggles to keep her secret life under wraps as the threat of exposure—and re-education—looms larger than ever.
Pulses will race throughout this thrilling fourth installment in the New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series, where no secret is safe
My Thoughts:
I absolutely loved The Indigo Spell and now I can not wait for The Fiery Heart! I needed this book the second I finished Indigo Spell, there can never be enough Adrian in my life! I am also doubly excited for this book because it will be partially written from Adrian's POV. Needless to say November can not get here fast enough!!
*Random aside, Richelle Mead needs a different cover designer. There is no book written by her where I have liked the cover (YA or otherwise), and this is no exception. That cover is so ugly *sigh* If any series ever needed a re-design it was this Bloodlines and VA!
I totally agree about the cover, this looks self-published and made on like photoshop in 5 minutes. I haven't read the VA series or this, but I will get around to it, eventually!

I LOVED the Indigo Spell. I'm really excited to read this one. And you're right, the cover is really ugly. Great pick!

I am currently reading 2 of her series concurrently. I just finished Book 2 of Vampire Academy (Frostbite) and I loved it.
ReplyDeleteI am currently on Book 2 of her Georgina Kincaid series (Succubus on Top) and I loved book 1.
I think her books are well written and not to heavy. Just right mix of everything
I LOVE Richelle Mead! She is one of my favorite authors! Vampire Academy is my absolute favorite series! I haven't Indigo Spell yet, but come payday I plan on getting it!
